Kinetic Superannuation Ltd  (ABN 14 056 917 303, AFSL 222590) ("KSL")  is the Trustee of Kinetic Superannuation Fund ("KSF") and is governed by a Board of Directors. KSL is governed by the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993. KSL has a Constitution and formal Charter documenting its membership, operating procedures and responsibilities.

The Board's sole purpose is to oversee the management of the Fund and its investments to provide the best possible financial benefits for members.

Our Directors have a varied mix of backgrounds, education and experience which serve to ensure the Board is highly effective. In particular, the Directors are skilled in the areas of investments, recruitment, marketing, banking, finance and law. All Directors have completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors' (AICD) course and undertaken training appropriate to their various responsibilities within the Board and its Committees.

I have advised executives and Boards of some of Australia's leading organisations across a number of industries, as well as provided advice to international organisations on strategy, leadership and governance. Current position: Chairman, Gullone Group Pty Ltd.

 

What professional memberships do you currently hold?

I am a Fellow of CPA Australia, Finsia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 

What qualifications do you have?

I hold a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and a Graduate Diploma in the Securities Industry (Applied Finance & Investment). I have also completed the Company Directors Program with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, Boston.

 

When were you first appointed to the Kinetic Super Board?

I was appointed in 2012.

 

Which Kinetic Super committees do you sit on?

I am Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee, a member of the Investment Committee and an ex-officio member of all other Committees.

I sit on the Indue Limited, Indue Aggregation Services Pty Ltd, Indue Securitisation Pty Ltd, Lynx Financial Systems Pty Ltd, Gullone Group Pty Ltd, and Gullone Commercial Solutions Pty Ltd Boards.

 

What do you like about working in the super industry?

It exists purely to provide adequate retirement to every working Australian. Its aim to continually improve is an aspect that I welcome.

What is your Professional background?

I was formally trained as a strategic marketing specialist and moved through various strategic marketing, corporate strategy, commercial and management consulting assignments. My corporate career was in blue chip organisations in the USA, UK and across Asia Pacific. I have also worked across many industries including financial services, media, telecommunications, travel, consumer goods and professional services. I am now a professional non-executive director.

I am a Member of the Australian Institute of Marketing and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

I hold a Bachelor of Business and am a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Nancy Fox

I am a banker and a lawyer with over 30 years’ experience in finance, insurance and infrastructure. During my executive career, I have worked for multi-national financial service firms in the US, Asia and Australia. At present, I am a professional non-executive director.

I am a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 

What qualifications do you have?

I hold a Juris Doctorate (Law) and a Bachelor of Arts (History).

Ian Chisholm

I have over 40 years’ successful leadership experience in various industries including consumer products, recruitment, superannuation and financial services, and 20+ years’ experience as a company Director. Current position: Managing Director of Brand Value Audits Pty Ltd.

I am a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and CairnMillar Institute.

 

What qualifications do you have?

I hold a RG 146 qualification.

What do you like about working in the super industry?

Superannuation is vitally important to all individuals, it is also overly complex and poorly understood and when a member can be helped by the Fund it is very gratifying. As a founder of the Fund and member since its inception the fact that our Fund has helped many members is very satisfying.

I have 10 years’ experience as a lawyer, specialising in financial services, trust and general corporate law. I have worked at two of Melbourne’s top tier law firms and have advised some of Australia’s largest trustee companies including NAB, AXA, Colonial and UBS.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (Honours), and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (awarded with Merit).

I am a Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent with over 30 years commercial experience, predominantly in senior managerial positions in the superannuation and life insurance industries. I have spent over four years in the direct administration of Kinetic Super, serving in senior financial and project management roles.

I am a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

I was elected in 2012.
